Brent Comer is a conservative leader running for Alabama State Senate District 28. Raised on a farm in the Glennville community, which is part of Russell County, Brent learned early the values that still guide him today: hard work, personal responsibility, faith, and service to others.
“District 28 is where I was raised and where my family has lived for over 150 years.”
Brent graduated from The Lakeside School in Eufaula and earned a degree in agriculture and business from Clemson University. He has spent the past 20 years working in the oil, gas, and energy industries as a professional landman. In that role, he has developed extensive experience in negotiating contracts, managing land and minerals, and responsible resource development.
“This experience has taught me how to bring people together to reach a common goal.”
Brent is also a small business owner. He co-owns C & S Bagging in Eufaula, which processes and packages corn and other grains for area feed stores, and East Alabama Vending, which serves businesses throughout the region. He works every day to meet payroll and manage costs.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities—and in Montgomery, I’ll fight to make sure they can grow and succeed.”

If elected Brent will:
Strengthen Rural Economic Development by supporting education, expanding job training and improving infrastructure.
Support Agriculture by expanding market opportunities for Alabama products and finding ways to cut input costs.
Focus on health and safety by fighting to save our rural hospitals and increasing funding for our Volunteer Fire Departments and First Responders.
“District 28 needs a strong conservative voice focused on real solutions, and I want to be that voice.”
Brent is married to Dr. Whitney Comer, and together they are raising their son, William.
